Medov entered the maritime salvage sector in 2010 through the acquisition of the Italian representation of Titan Salvage. In 2012, when the Titan–Micoperi consortium was awarded the Costa Concordia wreck removal project, Medov played a key supporting role throughout the entire emergency, contributing to several key aspects of the recovery operations.

Today Medov represents Blue Tack Salvage Co. in Italy and France (including overseas territories), a global maritime salvage company.
